Neoplasm: Benign – Case 01

Case

A 40-year-old man presents with a right submandibular firmness. The patient is shown to have a palpable nodule in the region of the right submandibular gland. A CT confirms the presence of a 2 cm circumscribed mass. An FNA is performed.

NEOPLASM: BENIGN

Pleomorphic Adenoma.

Clinical Follow-up

The patient had superficial parotidectomy
Pleomorphic adenoma, completely excised.
Patient has been free of disease for 4 years.
